Navigate Tiered Intervention (MTSS and RTI) & THRIVE!

Effectively navigating the MTSS and RTI processes will allow support for students, teachers, and families and impact the appropriateness of related service referrals.  Increase your knowledge of tiered interventions through the history, federal and state law, and tiered components.  Learn to incorporate specific, increasing intensity of instruction with evidence-based interventions to match a student’s needs within each tier.  These supports may increase a student's success within the general education curriculum and reduce the need for referrals to a specialized instructional service.  Incorporating successful strategies for communication and advocacy with leadership, time management, and resources for therapeutic interventions may break down barriers.  The result is a win-win for the administration, therapist, teacher, and student.

Bonus resources:  Includes many evidence-based printable resources, including workload calculators and screening tools.  There is current research and relevant literature documents to guide your practice.
