Is an observed behavior related to sensory processing or motivational behavior?  It is helpful to know where the behavior is originating from, what the child is trying to communicate, and what the child is responding to, which will support the implementation and success of the sensory-based strategy.   This chart can guide a team in implementing sensory strategies to support a child to be successful in their environment.
